APRIL: KNOW YOUR WILDFIRE RISKS. It's time to learn from a local fire expert just what the risks are that could cause your home to burn down during a wildfire. Enter the Wildfire Risk Assessment Portal today!
JULY: Keep Watch on Your Sparks & Be Smoke Ready Fire season is upon us now. It's very important that we do everything we can to prevent sparks, from our lawnmowers and off-road vehicles. Before you make a campfire, know if there are restrictions.
AUGUST: Your Fire Wisdom Matters. KNOW Before YOU GO Creating a legal campfire and making sure it's dead out are crucial skills. So is knowing how to evacuate safely. Learn where campfires are allowed and what you need when asked to leave due to wildfire!
OCTOBER MISSIONS
OCTOBER: IT'S FIRE PREVENTION MONTH Fire prevention is a year-round action and October reminds us that we can do a lot to protect our home as well as our property from wildfire.
SEPTEMBER: IT AIN'T OVER YET It's important to stay alert during the Dog Days of Fire Season. Stay diligent with campfires, and other fire-causing activities and know the fire restrictions around the state.
