TRAILERS
Purchased in 1997 with community donations, the Fire Safety Trailer is a specially designed mobile home that allows children and adults alike a chance to watch what happens when fire ignites in the home. More importantly, it teaches us to identify fire safety hazards and to practice fire escapes from the home.Designed originally for kids, age 8 to 11, the trailer's key message is fire prevention. If you pay close attention inside, you'll actually be able to prevent the trailer's demonstration fire from occurring. But then you'd miss the great escape, which includes climbing down a ladder. Children love that feature. Adult participants are asked to exit through the door.
Those wishing to borrow the MCFPA Fire Safety Trailer

Imagine you awake to the scream of your smoke alarm; in a matter of seconds your bedroom is filled with dense smoke and the door to your escape is hot to the touch... What would you do?

MCFPA has TWO FIRE-SAFETY DEMONSTRATION Trailers that give you the opportunity to find out.

The first is the Fire Safety Trailer . Partially funded
by public donations, this child-proof trailer is used
to educate about fire and smoke hazards.

Meanwhile, the MCFPA Sprinkler Trailer helps firefighters demonstrate the dynamics of indoor residential sprinklers.

Both trailers are available for public events, if not scheduled elsewhere. Contact us.
